You can check vessel strength and stability calculations in real time with the XPS strength and stability features, which appear in the stability panel of the vessel profile view.
To best plan the load, set the Tankage timeframe to the departure conditions. If the estimated departure tankage has not yet been entered (it may be provided by the shipping agent), enter it now as described in Managing Weights (on page 1).

To change the tankage timeframe:
In the vessel profile view, click Stability.
In the stability panel, from the Tankage list, select Departure <current facility>.
The stability panel refreshes to display the relevant information.
